Starting your dream business has never been easier or more affordable. The beauty of the digital age is that you don’t need thousands of dollars to start or even a fancy office. You just need to know what you’re looking for and where to look. You have to be mechanical about the early steps and then you can go wild with your creativity.
If you’re anything like me, you’ve got dozens of notes on your phone and your head is always overflowing with ideas. Every time I see a flaw in an existing product or think about the pain points in my life, the ideas get added to a long list on my Notes.
Before I started my businesses, I had absolutely no idea how to translate those ideas into businesses. I didn’t have lists of resources like these to help me and had to pave my own way. In fact, no one in my family was in business, so I really had to figure out everything on my own, from finding mentors to marketing to logistics.
Before delving into this list, here’s a few steps you should have already taken:
1) Isolate the idea that you want to translate into a business;
→ Consider your business idea, your revenue streams, your target audience, your methods of delivery, etc.
2) Find a way to validate your idea to ensure there’s a market for it.
